The website offers a comprehensive range of information - from guides to applying for planning permission to all the latest government legislation.

Meanwhile, The Planning Portal innovative online services, including the planning application service and interactive local plans, are helping to speed-up and simplify the planning system.

The Planning Portal was launched in May 2002 and sits at the forefront of the government's ambitious e-planning agenda.

The Usability Company has conducted usability evaluations for The Planning Portal over the last two years and continues to work closely with the site's content and development team
