BSkyBThe Usability Company works for BSkyB across its websites as well as interactive television. With over 6 million customers, Interactive TV reaches an audience that may not use the web very often and therefore, perhaps more then the web, has to be as intuitive as possible. The results of an evaluation project for Sky Active has informed the redesign of the new Sky Active screens, translating directly into a more usable offering for customers. Examples of research conducted on behalf of BSkyB include researching the redesign of the Sky Active menu pages on the TV platform. This was done by performing evaluations on existing screens, as well as testing paper prototypes and working through new prototypes with typical customers from across the UK. |
