Kiosk

Kiosks are used in different ways from PC’s and to find different types of information. The user is frequently in an open public place and concerned for their security and privacy.

Many organisations are implementing kiosks to enable customers, users or both to access information and transact more quickly and easily. Unlike the Internet, the device the access is being made from is not the users’ own, and that raises a number of usability issues, over and above the environmental concerns.
