The Usability Company was founded in Jan 2001 as a partnership between E-Comms Ltd. (founded 1999) and Brainspark (1999).

All executive employees of The Usability Company are registered associates of The Usability Professionals Association, The Market Research Society and accredited members of the Association of Qualitative Research.

Catriona Campbell CEO and co-founder

As CEO, and an E-Business specialist, Catriona draws on 6 years of senior management and professional communications experience. Catriona has 3 years of specific E business market research experience specifically from companies such as BP, General Electric and Barclays where she was latterly the first head of E-Communications for Barclays Group. Catriona has a degree in psychology, and a postgraduate degree in business communications she is also a frequent speaker at conferences & events.  Catriona is the Vice President of the Usability Professionals Association (UK).

Marty Carroll

 

Marty Carroll, Director of Usability Practice of The Usability Company

As Director of Usability Practice, Marty is the project manager for large-scale client projects, and runs a team of Usability Specialists. Marty has an MSC in HCI, a degree in Psychology, and years of experience in Usability gained at BT and TW2. Marty is the Secretary of the Usability Professionals Association.

Paul Blunden, Sales & Marketing Director of The Usability Company

Paul's career in Sales & Marketing spans over 15 years having taken up his first sales role in 1990 straight out of an engineering apprenticeship. Quickly moving into management across both Sales & Marketing disciplines he draws on a wealth of experience most recently in the area of IT Outsourcing and complex Managed Services with US Global Corporation, Unisys. Paul holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and is also CIM and CIPD qualified.
